This Week

First and foremost..I would like to thank for every readers of Random-Apples, because we've reached an outstanding 150th-K view! (I feel honoured because they are people reading my crap shit of writings and posts in the internet world..haha, I seriously didn't thought that my blog could reach this far..again, thanks for the heads up, people!)

To start things off, as mentioned in my earlier post, I went to Etihad Stadium, the home of Manchester City Football club to witness the demolition of Porto. As a neutral, it was an entertaining match and to be honest with you guys, the Manchester City fans are totally, totally boring.

Boring? Boring macam mana bro?

Okay, macam ni, there were no songs, no chants and no cheers (except for the goals ofcourse) during the entire match from the home crowd. (Maybe I exaggerated that part a bit, and probably that they did sang, but I didn't hear anything at all from them). Even the stadium is not full. It's Porto ffs! Europa League's defending champions!

Compared to Anfield, the only thing that's decent at Etihad Stadium is that they have a good pre-match atmosphere, with live bands singing and big screens that show some of their seasons goals and players.

Apart from football, i've finally received my first magazine subscription!! I paid 5 pounds for 5 month's mag and including a free gift, which I have yet to receive. It's a photography magazine, Digital SLR photography. I can't wait to get my hands on my camera this Spring! This winter has been pretty much hard on me for photography since it's cold. I hate walking and lugging my camera around in the freezing weather, lagi-lagilah kalau snow.

Next week, I'll be told regarding my design project group and i'm soooo freaking nervous everytime when I think about it. I just wish that I could get one or two Malaysians in our group as it would mean easier communication and understanding. I know that there's no hiding the fact that sooner or later I would be talking and doing business angmoh's in the future, but, what if, you were in a group and you get those pesky parasites or leechers type of people that is only present during the last day for the project and magically appears during the presentation day? I'm not saying anyone, but try to imagine that scenario, mesti cam cibai, nak, mun ada orang camya?

******

It's been totally boring lately and I really look forward for the flowers to bloom, the sun to shine and the cold to disappear. There's this event, Kembara at Peak District, which I'll be joining in a few weeks and from what i've seen from my friends picture, Peak District is a totally amazing place to take awesome pictures!

And last but no least--Enjoy your weekend everyone, eat well, sleep well and stay healthy!

Photography Equipment- Completed!

During my KL trip a few weeks ago I've bought myself a present- a new lens!!

This was my 3rd biggest purchase after my Rayban sunnies and Klipsch headphones and most probably i'll be saving my money now, or else i'll end up broke!

Here's a pictar of the lens that I've bought!

Its the 17-50mm F2.8 Tamron lens!

I bought it 2nd hand though (RM880)..so the price is cheaper than the 1st hand- RM300++ saved. It is still in warranty and looks absolutely brand new (since the seller didn't use it that much) so I guess it was totally money worth spent here.

I didn't have much time in taking pictures with this new lens, but here's a picture that I took recently with it (and edited abit in Aperture).

I took it with a 17mm focal length. (Haven't experimented the lens in various focal lengths yet) I wonder how it would be if I took it at 10mm..i'm sure it would be tad spectacular!!

Oh, here's another one.

One of my favourite drinks..Malta. =P

So-

17-50mm f2.8 [check]
35mm f1.8 [check]
50mm f1.4 [check]
55-200mm f.5.6 VR [check]

Ok- how the hell i'm going to fit those lens in my bag?! =.=

Anyways, it's time to take my photography skills to a whole new level!

New Pair Of Shoes

I bought a new pair of shoes recently and I absolutely love them!

I'm not a big fan of shoes- nor a shoe collector, but I find that its necessary for me to buy another pair of shoes, for jog and for streetwear.

So now I have 5 pairs of shoes in total (I know some of you guys have 10. Or more). And each one of them serves a different purpose. (Not forgetting different brands too! hehe)

For those who's curious, here's some of the pictures of the shoes.

What do guys think? Canteeeekkkk kannnn? hehehehe. I like that fact that it doesn't really looks like a running shoe- its like, a sneakers, which functions as a running shoe! :p

After taking some snapshots of this lovely pair, I went out jogging with em' and I was surprised how comfortable they were! Every step when I jog was like stepping on a cushion surface. Too bad I couldn't jog that long tho, my ankle was ruining the day- have to improve my fitness level when i'm over with btn.

Jogging- a new passion!

The Other Side Of Kuching

This is Kuching. My hometown. From the other side of the city lies a village in which I was born. I was raised as a Kampung Boy and became a travelling student years after. I'm thankful that I was given the opportunity to see the outside world, outside from Kuching and embraced challenges that made me stronger.

For now, i'm going to fully utilize this opportunity given to me because I know that not many was given this chance, and I wouldn't want to screw this up since failing to secure good results would surely mean a bleak future for me, and my family.

Though this year was one of the worst birthdays that I've ever had, but one thing for sure I knew was i'm going to be stronger, day by day and this would be the time where i'll struggle and give that final push to the last hurdle.

Ain, Supermodel In The Making

Meet Ain.

She's still a toddler but when she sees a camera right infront of her; she'll pose exactly just like a supermodel.  She really knows how to pose infront of the camera and "ujik-ujik".

Probably in another 1-2 years, Ain would be gracing the front pages of kid's fashion for Elle magazine.
Hah, I wish.

Anyways, here are some photo's that I would like to share with you guys. Enjoy! ;)

Oh yeah. You guys might have been wondering what "ujik-ujik" is.

Feast yourselves. :p

She's cute, isn't she? :)

Tennis Pictures!

During this weekend there was a sport carnival held at Micet. I've entered tennis (doubles) and football. I've played tennis this week and would be playing football on the next weekend.

Though we were battered quite badly by the seniors, but we gave them a good fight overall. Here are some snapshots of me and my friend, Muaz playing the tennis doubles. :). Thanks to Hafiy and Akmal for snapping up some shots of us!

If only I could play like Nadal and serve like Roddick, i'm pretty sure chicks would be screaming my name-

Go Bazil! Go Bazil! Go Bazil!!

It's your birthday!

Go Bazil!!

Lol. Joking. Anyways, would be looking forward for the football match! That, I'm sure we would thrive to the finals! Hehe.

Photograhy Club

I really miss my photography club...it was such a nice experience given the responsibility of being the president. This picture was taken when we went to Matang wildlife park- took some snapshots of some apes, gorillas, porcupines, gibbons..etc..etc and had a barbecue after that. And we also went swimming around at the river which was very cold!

Really miss those days!!

P:S// Finally found my old photo's during school days!! (Sad that most of them were lost..T.T)

Model Photoshoot

Currently im not really that active in photography at the moment unlike when I was in form 4 or form 5. There were lots of friends and juniors that I can look upon with- taking pictures while walking around Kuching street. I've missed that.

Anyhow, these were some of my picture collections that I've still kept it inside my macbook, some random model during a photography class at the waterfront, Kuching. (Added a few exposure tweaks)

Enjoy! :)

What do you guys think? =P
