There's no place like home.
How often do you hear your colleagues, friends or family say that to you? Before this, I anticipated my studies in Sheffield, but after a few months of sleeping, reading, eating in this 1st world country, I would say I pretty much miss home.
Home is the only place where one could enjoy food the most, talk and enjoy time with friends and spending time with your loved ones. There's no denying the fact that wether you like it or not, one will always think about home. I'm not really that sociable or a family kind of person, but deep down inside, I miss that warmth a family could give- and the sweetness of sleeping on your own bed.
Staying at Lawrencefield has opened my eyes on some of the different types of people- religion, ethnicity, emotion and language. Most of my friends here stay at their own houses which they rent and a few of us are staying at the university apartment- which is a hell lot expensive and though the experience wasn't the one that i've expected- nor anticipated, i feel that it was necessary for me to try mingle and improve myself with other people and blending in; without forgetting my purposes of studying here and being my own self.
People change when they come into a new environment, and most of them tend to do so- wether changing to good or bad. I change a lot of my lifestyle when I arrived in Sheffield and I try my best to be friendly, helpful and comforting and in university, one should always remember that you should know how to keep your ass intact- or simply, be independent.
"Lagi-lagilah kat overseas, parents sikda, so pande-pandelah jaga dirik pun, nak?"
There are so many things to explore, yet, there are so little time. I guess being away from home gradually affects someone's mood and emotion to a certain extent that it could severely affect their surroundings and relationships.
I guess this was one the effects of taking a shower in the middle of the night. Hmm.
I wish I can drink Milo Peng right now..='(

Goodbye Malaysia, Hello Sheffield!
P:S// Sorry, this post was meant to be posted before my flight to the UK- nevertheless, i hope you guys enjoy reading! (Btw, I've arrived in Sheffield!)
It's tomorrow.
As much as I anticipate my flight to London, there's no denying that butterflies are constantly up there in my stomach everytime I think about leaving.
This week was an adventure itself, started with some pre-departure briefings where I received lots of money- and it's not even mine. It's the taxpayers money that's been "invested" in the hope that I could bring some new knowledge in terms of experience, ideas and skills.
Exaggerating brat much.
I resisted on buying new gadgets, as I have all the gadgets that I need with me that I deem essential at the UK- but something went wrong yesterday, as I was pick pocketed and there goes my beloved sony walkman phone.
Fuck you pickpocket. Seriously. Die.
Andddddd so, there goes my budget plan. Have to buy a new phone by today!
Btw, Johnny English Reborn was fun, there's nothing like watching good ol' Mr. Bean at it's best-
"Making people laugh like crazy".
Ok. WTF am I talking about- Oh yeah, I'm gonna leave Malaysia tomorrow! I never knew that this day could come; or could happen but it did. I remembered very well that I saw a lot of my friends and people cried at the airport when me and my friends sent Lee to the airport for his flight.
I've packed my stuffs and my bags are full with clothes, some gadgets, laptop, books and ofcourse;
A few Malaysian flavor.
I hope that I don't get homesick.

Saying- Goodbye.
Sad.
Nervous.
And scared.
These 3 emotions are currently in my mind these few days and headaches are occasionally apparent signaling high level of stress and thinking.
Saying goodbye, to your hometown, friends and families are never easy.
And add to the fact of those challenges in studying, sleeping and eating abroad- obviously it's fucked up.
As I try to smile and embracing a new chapter in my life, it feels..so.....messed up.
My mind is not particularly ready for such crazy thoughts and I'm having mixed feelings of waving goodbye.
When I was studying in school, I never thought of studying abroad..like..I knew it's nearly impossible for me to achieve that.
Ok, bullshit. I made that up. In school, studying abroad has always been in my mind and there's no lying to the fact that back then, it feels so.. intriguing, fun and is full of excitement.
But now..
Seriously I don't know how to express this kind of feeling. The feeling of saying goodbye to my beloved hometown- friends, and families.
Here, I would like to thank everybody who always gave me their support towards me- no matter big or small, whom stayed there for me in time of despair, and joy.
I never felt that saying goodbye could end up in tears.
Now I do.
Uh-oh..headache again---
Damn!! Never felt this sad before in my whole life!

Life- It's Like That.
I never knew that dream, could be a reality.
I was just a normal kampung boy, who once played with longkangs, played gudi, played seremban, followed the kampung's current trend- kreta dash, digimons, beyblades and crushgears. Swam the Sarawak river?
Occasionally, yes.
Come secondary school it turns out to be very exciting-
Hanging out with mat rempits, cikaro's and even mat pit was like any other normal day- they were funny, and no, i don't do those rempit, flirt and hisap dadah- its not my thang anyways. Cyber cafe's were like my 2nd home and I've spent a lot of my allowances given by my parents just to play games, especially Counter-Strike and Ragnarok.
I was willing to walk from my house, took a sampan ride to cross the Sarawak river and travel 40mins with my cousins to go to CC. Talk about commitment.
I was not smart in school..at class I'll usually get number 20++ and I was only good in maths and science. I hate those geography and history classes- to me they were useless. I never get the idea of learning them as I had a very weak memory.
And there comes PMR, I only had 4A's..and 4B's..and compared with my mates..most of them got better results than me. I didn't complaint about my results and I thought I did okay. My parents gave me money, as a sign of motivation; RM400 if im not mistaken..and i used it to buy myself my first set of headphones..and a pair of football boots. (Very boros, huh?)
As form 4 started, life was gradually changing and that was when I've step into the world of teenagers.
Seeing my friends going to smart classes did made me a bit lonely as I didn't had those usual chats and laughters together. In form 4, too, i've started studying during evenings and weekends, at the state library.
Pustaka- tempat org blaja pake nge-up dirik..haha.
With hard work and preserverance- I've got 9A's in my SPM..a very big achievement from what I've got from PMR..everyone was shocked- including myself. I couldn't believe it. 9A's was like- WTF?!!
I've spent my SPM holidays in becoming an addmaths and maths teacher. The experience was totally unforgettable and it really taught me in how blessed I were to have a teacher in school.
I applied a lot of scholarships and sadly I've got none of it and I ended up studying at UiTM Shah Alam for my foundation course..and a month later, that was when I received a call, telling me that I've got the oppurnity to study overseas by MARA.
I met a lot of friends when I was at UiTM..I really miss them..especially my classmates and roommates..I cried when I leave UiTM..it was a place that I felt very comfortable with..tho there were only 2 Sarawakians for the whole foundation course.
Studying at Kolej MARA Kuala Nerang was different from UiTM and I've met a lot of friends too- crazy, unsocial and talkative- everything. Not to mention I've got 4.00 for both semesters at Kuala Nerang and I was really proud of my achievements. During my time at the peninsular I enjoyed travelling with my friends, where I could see how modern it is the peninsular were. (But nothing could be compared to home). At UniKL i've achieved an overall grade of A-, confirming my placement at University of Sheffield.
Something, I thought that couldn't happen. Something- that I've dreamed off where someday I'll study overseas really did became a reality, after all.
Watching my other kampung friends playing futsal and kites during the evening, merempit, swimming at the Sarawak River or whatever activity that they're doing kept me thinking-
I was once one of them too, and now I'm carrying a burden on my shoulder-
As a student, who's going to study at a place for the white-people and graduate, with a first-class degree and contribute, to my nation, and to them, too.
I consider myself very lucky indeed, and I thank everyone who has helped me for making who I am today.
And oh, why the hell am I writing this?
I'm not bragging, exaggerating or complaining; BUT
LIFE- IT'S LIKE THAT.
P:S// Take life as a challenge, improve yourself and get the most out of your opportunity. Don't take it for granted, and as always, God, knows best for us, and always will.
Like they say, life is always full of surprises.

A Quick Recap
Sigh.
I couldn't think much of what to blog about- my head is crammed with everything concerning chemical engineering. I just can't wait for the finals to end and enjoy my holidays.
I was thinking of setting up an online business or maybe get into teaching again. I love teaching btw- it gives me pleasure teaching people. Should I be a teacher instead?
Ah. Whatever.
During this study week I've spent too much time sleeping
I've just wished that I could read a book and memorize everything. That's entirely impossible.
WTF am i talking?
Crap talking and not studying.
Hebat la Bazil. Hebat.
K.
That is all for today.
=.="

Sheffield
As much as i anticipate studying in Sheffield, I could see myself sitting on top of the benches there inside the picture. It would be great, studying with my friends with cold temperature and sunny weather.
At the moment i'm trying to study as much as I could, and avoid distractions such as facebook, twitter or computer games. Recently I've received my marks for Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics which was 70. If only I could detect my careless mistakes earlier on during the test, most probably I could get 80 something..or even 90. (HAHAHAHA I WISH)
Oh well. An expensive lesson learnt. Gotta make sure that during my finals; careless mistakes should be avoided as much as possible.
Only a few days left before my finals and this exam are one of the most frightening exams i've been through- more frightening than SPM!
Again sorry I couldn't blog that much, but still- pray for my success!! :DD

A Chance To Shake Hands With Dr. Mahathir :)
I received an email earlier today, and it wrote-
Hi Bazil,
How are you? I hope you're doing well.
First of all, Congratulations for winning the Consolation Prize in our Essay Competition 2010!
Attached is the letter by my General Manager, Puan Zarina Abu Bakar as well as an invitation card to the Prizegiving Ceremony which will be held on 4th May 2011.
Once again, Congratulations! See you soon!
I was seriously very surprised when I received this email because I wasn't expecting I could won anything, or at least, something from this competition.
I remembered when my english lecturer told us to take this competition as your assignment to improve your english, and if you win it, then its a bonus-
A bonus, it really is!
Although the consolation prize ain't that spectacular compared to the 3rd, 2nd, 1st or grand prize, but during the prize giving ceremony I would have the chance the shake hands with our former prime minister,
Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohammad.
Now thats an oppurtunity and prize of a lifetime! :P
P:S// Goddamnit I have my final exam on 3rd May! And the prize giving ceremony is on the 4th! (Btw, major thanks to my english lecturer, Miss Norhayati for the guidance!!!)

A Month To Struggle
Today is the 3rd of April.
Its a month shy from my final exam date, which is on the 3rd of May.
During this one month i'll try to study as much as I could and do my best in recapturing all of my revisions last semester and this one too.
I know that failing this exam, and if I do not meet the requirements of MARA i'm sure that the opportunity to study overseas is gone and i'm going to regret it FOREVER.
So during this one month period, most probably i'll play lesser games, online chatting and blogging. I'll make the most of my time studying and hopefully i'll get my target 1st class degree! :).
Till then my readers-
P:S// I still blog. But expect late updates! Sorry. Hope you guys understand!!! Thanks for supporting Random-Apples!! :)

Time Is Running Out.
I never felt this down before my entire life.
The last time I felt seriously down and felt that suicide was an option, was during the day when I received my PMR results.
I know. Suicide is not an option. I'm not that stupid to kill myself. It's just a mere exaggeration, but still, feeling so down could really spoil my mood for the whole day, or week, perhaps.
All that i'm hoping now is a miracle and wish, that time speeds as fast as it could and let me out of this mess.
Today I had a test. Heat transfer test.
Heat transfer is one of the killer subjects for semester 2. Alongside thermodynamics and fluid mechanics. The test was hard though. Not that hard after a mere discussion with my friends after the test. During the test I panicked and didn't answer the questions accordingly and to a certain extent, I felt like i'm not worthy of being selected as one of the students to study overseas by the government.
I guess the number 4.00 that I've obtained during semester 1 and semester 2 during college was just a fluke after all. I couldn't bring those results here. I can't get that illustrious CGPA 4.00 anymore. I'm not a 1st class degree student. I'm going to fail.
Fail.
Time is running out for me. Finals are just around the corner and I'm going to give everything that I've got. I've never felt so nervous about an exam since SPM. My future depends on this final exam. Everything. Depends on this final exam. Everything.
I'm wishing. Praying. And trying as hard as I could.
Sheffield. Wait. For. Me.

Chemical Engineers
Its a fact, that Chemical Engineering are one of the toughest course that engineering has to offer.
I can't blame myself for choosing Chemical Engineering, because I really wanted to study this course wholeheartedly. My second choice of study was Mechanical, due to the reason that I always love robots. Or anything that involves mechanics.
Well, kinda.
Anyways, today I had a talk with my sponsors and we had the shock of our lives when we saw the statistics, in which most Chemical Engineering students fail during their second and third year in the UK.
Our first batch has resulted in 2 failures so far, and the second, resulted in 4. The third batch has already done their exam but their results are yet to be known. Me, myself and my friends here in Micet are the fourth batch of students who are going to pursue Chemical Engineering as the desired course of study and to be honest, I felt somewhat scared of what challenges lies ahead that I could face in the near future.
To be honest with you, I am struggling for my first year in Micet and the challenges present are not that easy to face with what I've got in my guts now. I've studied and done my tutorials but the fact is, it is still not enough.
As I was playing with my imagination and thoughts what was the fucking reason of why i'm struggling, the talk did the job really well.
One of the speakers, told us that attitude, plays an important role that determines who, what and where we really are.
Knowledge, Skills, Information and Attitude are the 4 core elements that one has to be available to oneself, in order to be successful in their ventures. And it was surprising, that Attitude, accounts 93% of the success rate of what we Malaysians call as,
Mahasiswa.
For the past few weeks i've been in a constant amount of stress and I couldn't really think much about what to blog about except my current thoughts and feelings.
Still. A. Long. Way. To. Go.

KLIA
I went to KLIA yesterday.
Me and my friends were going to meet some of our friends who were going overseas to further their studies and boy- what an experience it was.
As I enter KLIA, I saw swarms of people lingering around, where most of them are students and their families. Those students wore their MARA jackets and I could really see their sadness, in leaving their beloved hometown and the joy of opening a new chapter in a new place and people.
It was not surprising to see parents crying when they see their children's boarding for overseas and wave goodbye. It was totally predictable. But to see it with my own eyes I've thought to myself,
I wonder, what are the things that are going through their parents mind right now.
And then I wondered, again-
What if I'm the one whose wearing that MARA jacket, boarding for overseas, waved goodbye-
And saw my parents crying right in front of me.
What emotions would run through my very veins? Would I cry too? Would I run back from the boarding area just to give them one last hug?
I couldn't think less.
To see my friends pursuing their dreams is really a joy to watch, and feel. I am under their shoes now. But they're going a bit earlier than us.
For once my only source of inspirations are my family. The ones who guided me through my whole life. Ever since I saw my friends whose waving goodbye to me and said,
"See you there"
I guess; friends, are one of my source for inspirations too.
Going back home thinking how am I fucking gonna do this shit was something that I really thought really well.

Businessman
Apart from being an engineer, I always wanted to be a teacher or even-
A Businessman.
When I was in school I did a small business among my peers and teachers, where I sold some of the pictures that I've took with my camera.
The profit was awesome, imagine a piece of picture that I've printed, I could sell them back for 100% profit. 50cents a piece and RM1 for sale; and thus it began the love for business.
Someday, if I could save up all my money, I would really like to have my own gas station or maybe, my own McDonald's restaurant!
I look at myself in the mirror and told myself,
"I wanna be a successful businessman!"
Ultimately, if I couldn't afford to open either business, a gas station or a restaurant, I want to become just like Mr. Lee, a successful teacher, and a businessman.
A tuition teacher with his own tuition centre, Sri Sarjana- one of the most sought after tuition centres in Kuching. I still remember those days when Mr. Lee always asked his students in the class,
"Who can answer this question I will give RM50"
And Mr. Lee ain't bluffing. If you answered his questions correctly, you're RM50 richer than the other students.
Nah, someday..sometime..
"Anybody who can asnwer this question, I will give him an ipod"
And that's me, being a successful teacher, with his own tuition centre and owns a McDonald's restaurant.
Who knows.
Lol.

I Was Caught By The Police!!!
It was just a typical Sunday afternoon before something bad happened. Or should I say "unlucky".
Me and my friends were going out for our lunch at our usual place (we call it as Seremban)-roughly 3-5 minutes drive from Micet.
On our way to Seremban, there was a police road block and as a typical Malaysian, we rushed to buckle our seat belts and unfortunately, one of my friends, Kuna didn't manage to buckle up. (I was sitting at the back btw).
So we parked the car approximately 100 meters away from the road block and Kuna tried to buckle his seat belt but to no avail. We thought about U-turn..
Or get chased by the cops thinking that we were some drug dealers trying to escape from the police.
We charged in and as soon we approached the police at the road block, we had this conversation.
Naki: Assalamualaikum Pak Cik..
Police: Hah, ni parking jauh tadi ape kes? (Checks our car for any suspicious things). Ni tak pakai tali pinggang apesal? (The policeman looks at Kuna, who's sitting at the front)
Kuna: Aaa..tali pinggang rosak la pak cik. Takleh nak tarik.
Police: Oooo..takleh tarik? Driver meh lesen ngan IC. Parking kat tepi tuh.
Me: (Goddamn it! Are we gonna get summoned?)
Police: Pegi jumpe pak cik yang tengah dudok kat ujong tu.
Naki and Kuna walked out from the car and went to see another policeman. I was sitting all alone in the car and suddenly the policeman called out
"Hah, tu yang dok blakang tu. Pergilah skali".
WTF.
So I took out the car keys and walked out from the car as well. Feeling confused and angry I went to the other policeman and asked-
"Kiteorang kene saman ke ni pak cik?"
"Takdelah, yang dudok depan tu je yang kene saman. RM30. Dah. Bagi IC" replied the policeman.
After handing out my IC to the policeman, the policeman wrote our names and addresses at some kinda name list. I seriously thought that we were gonna get summoned. But still, I remembered that if we were getting summoned for not wearing our seat belts, it would be around the region of RM100~RM200.
RM30?
Rasuah ke bang?
Police: Hah, ni yang tak pakai tali pinggang tu, sebelum saye saman, awak nak cakap ape-ape tak?
Kuna: Errr..
Police: Ni, saye tanye lagi, sebelum saye saman, awak nak cakap ape-ape ke tak?
Should Kuna hand in RM30? That would be bribing. I don't know. RM30 seems reasonable than getting summoned RM200 for not wearing a seatbelt.
Kuna: ....
Police: Oklah, ni last saye tanye. Sebelum saye saman, ade ape-ape nak cakap?
I can see that the police is getting frustrated. I mean, did the policeman really want us to bribe him? At this point we were panicked and didn't know what to say. In all of a sudden the policeman kinda shouted at us-
Police: Minta maaf. Lain kali saye tak buat lagi. Tu pun susah ke hah?!
All 3 of us: Minta maaf pak cik. Lain kali saye tak buat lagi..
After we said that, the policeman gave our IC's back and we walked back to our car. Relieved. The policeman that stopped our car earlier suddenly said this with a tone of sarcasm;
"Eh, tak kene saman ke?"
Corrupted police. Sheesh!

A Young Engineer
Being sponsored scholarship by MARA is a very very big responsibility that I have to bear. I'm using the people's money, to fulfill my study. Though MARA gives a very large sum of allowance every month, sometimes I feel guilty of spending it because I feel that there are many, many worthy persons should be under my shoes now instead of me.
I really want to study at Sheffield badly. It was one of my dreams to study overseas. I bet everyone had dreamed off it too. Japan, Korea, England, Russia, Singapore, US..you name it, I'm sure all of you had dreamed of studying there.
Being an engineer does bring great responsibility too. Many thought that chemical engineers do their "work" on the laboratory, mixing liquid A to liquid B and getting the desired liquid C. Nah. Process engineers are much more technical- we design plants (sorry, architects), operate, control and optimize anything that involves a "process".
Right now I'm thinking in my small head- am I capable of being a process engineer, holding a 1st class degree from Sheffield with a title of IR- IR Mohammad Bazil?
Turning dream to reality- possible but I really have to work hard to earn it. ;)
I mean really, really HARD.

Money
The world resolves around money.
The food that you eat, the clothes that you wear, the internet that you surf, the camera that you shoot pictures with and the bed that you sleep on- everything involves money; well literally, of course.
I know that not everything in this world is about money, but lets face it, without money your life sucks.
Though due to some degree, most probably you'll say that statement is true.
There are many ways to find money.
You can always rob the bank. You can sell burgers on the roadside. You can open a business. You can be a teacher. You can be involved in MLM (though i'm highly highly skeptical about this). You can even sell your own dignity for the sake of money.
There are endless possibilities in finding money. Endless.
I still remembered the days when a can of cola was sooo cheap back then. RM1.10 a can.
Inflation has served us well through the years.
Our daily needs and commodities are very expensive nowadays and to live in a city is just a burden to big to handle.
Money is evil. Yes, it is. Money can make you kill your friends. Money can make you kill your brothers and sisters. Or even your mother.
Ask yourself, do I hate or love money? Why so?
And still to this day I find myself puzzled, without money, what would our world be nowadays.
I wish that everything was free. ;)

Self Confidence
As much as I really love blogging, I don't really have to mood to write anything right now really..ever since I've received my results, I was in total shock.
Though there's still a long way to go, but it really does give me a real blow to my self confidence and esteem.
I have to push myself really hard this semester. I mean really hard. I'll give myself a few more days to get my mind clear things off.
I can't sleep well these few days lately.

Semester 2
As much as I'm delighted to be back here in Micet, there are still a few things that I have to worry about. To start off, i've just received my results and all that I can say that I have to struggle a bit more this semester to ensure my flight ticket to England.
A bit shocked, I say. Time to start studying!! :)

Shell Scholarship Interview
I still remembered how badly I did during the Shell scholarship interview.
It was 2 years back.
I really wanted the Shell scholarship more than anything else because they offered the course that I was interested in- petroleum engineering.
It was a telephone interview. (I know..sounds weird right? But its the same as a normal face to face interview. Its just that, you can sit comfortably in your home and you won't get too nervous about it).
That wasn't the case for me because my interview started at 11.30 a.m. At 10.30 a.m. which is an hour before the interview, I went for breakfast. I had a very simple meal and I thought that I should finish my meal as fast as I could and get back home before 11. (My house was quite near from the place that I've eaten my breakfast).
But. Just 10 minutes before 11 a.m nightmare struck. As I approached my car, my telephone rang; please let it be my parents who called.
As I took out my handphone from my pocket. Ahh.
It was not a local Sarawak number. It was from KL. And I know it must be be from Shell.
I blew it. All of my documents are at home. To think that I should do the interview inside my car was ridiculous; but that was an option. Do the interview inside the car without any documents and make a good impression? Or. Go home 1st. Do the interview with my documents so that I could lay down my facts easily.
"Hello, this is Emily (not real name) from the Shell Scholarship Foundation. This must be Mohammad Bazil"
Oh shit. Oh Fuck. Damn it!
"Yes..this is Bazil, an applicator of the Shell Scholarship Awards"
"Are you ready for your interview?"
I chose option 2.
After that call, I drove straight back home and cursing myself why did I took the freaking breakfast for the 1st place? I should've sit in my room and waited for the call! How I've wished that I've got a face to face interview rather than this! (Or a time machine) I wanted to smash my head on the wall, but I guess that was a stupid idea.
The 2nd call was exactly on 11.30 a.m.- the exact time when I should undergo the interview. I was frustrated and felt pissed of myself. I knew I've blew my chance of getting the scholarship away. I knew this was the end.
The interview, lasted around 45 mins was truly an adventure. I talked and said everything that came across from my mind. From education, sports, co-curriculum activities and friends, you name it.
The 1st call has done its job. I've failed to make a good impression. An opportunity came down knocking on my door.
And i've failed to take a full advantage of it. A week later i've received an email that I was not the right person that they wanted to look for. I was disappointed. I felt that this was the end of the world.
I never felt so fucked up in my life.
That was one of the most painful experience i've ever been too. And the most painful lesson that I've learnt.
"Be Prepared"
Ahh.

UK University Hike
As most of you people knew, universities in the UK have increased their fees threefold.
MARA have allocated my scholarship RM550,000 (approximate figure, can't remember the actual one) if I'm going to the UK. That RM550,000, would be including my living expenses and the rest would be my course fees.
Let's do some maths-
I would be staying in the UK for 3 years and MARA would be giving me 650 pounds (approximate figure) a month.
3 x 12 x 650 = 23400 pounds.
Times that with the current pound value= 23400 x 5= RM 117,000
Minus that with total scholarship value= RM550,000 - RM117,000= RM433,000
The university fee paid by MARA would be RM433,000. Unfortunately, that value would likely to be increased as well.
RM433, 000 x 3 = RM1,300,000
RM 1, 300, 000 for 3 years.
What would MARA or other scholarship organizations gonna do about it, since the fee has increased tremendously? I'm sure RM 1, 300, 000 is a hell lot of money. Working as an engineer or a doctor for 10 years won't bring you near to that accumulated figure.
"its time for us to wake up"
Please, don't take this matter seriously. This is not just about us, other people who's going to enter the university in the UK itself would be thinking twice to enroll because the fee is tad expensive. How would you feel if the government of Malaysia increased the University fee? Surely there would be protests or riots. I'm sure.
Just look at the people of England, they went as far as attacking their own prince for goodness sake!
Hou would you feel if our own people or foreigners attack our royal highness?
Most likely our scholarship requirements would increase as well or probably they'll change our destination from UK to other places. Well, who wants to send someone who only scored average marks in their exams overseas, right?
IB requirements, from 36 would be increased to 40.
Foundation requirements, from 3.5 would be increased to 3.8.
University requirements, from 70 average would be increased to 80.
IELTS requirements, from 6.5 average would be increased to 7.
As a scholarship holder, I bear huge responsibility for the nation. I bear huge responsibility to the people, parents and teachers. I must confess, that during my 1st year in Micet I've let my lecturers down because I should've scored my exams rather than praying or hoping that I've passed the requirements. Its time for me to wake up- no, its time for us to wake up, because this world is not as easy as you might think it is. Did you ever thought that you've let other people hopes down?
Or did you thought that you've did enough?
Think again.
P:S// This post is dedicated to any scholarship holders and to those who may concern. Let's improve ourselves and don't let our nations, parents, teachers hopes down. It's time for us to prove our worth.

Reality Check. The Truth Hurts.
Not long ago I was happy with my IELTS results.
And then comes the defeat to Newcastle for Liverpool.
And now this. (Click for larger version).
Better start studying for sem 2 now folks or else we can kiss our UK hopes goodbye.
