Kat Italy nang sikda kreta Proton/Perodua langsung..tapi banyak kreta Daihatsu ngan Mitsubishi yang kedak rupa Proton/Daihatsu..especially Viva, Myvi, Kelisa, Inspira ngan Wira.

Hmm..bila gik Proton ngan Perodua nak mendominasi industri automotif dunia? =P

Dah Pinjam Taknak Bayar. Apa Kebodohan Ini, Pondan?

Camner prasan korang, kalau member2 pinjam duit, pastu taknak bayar? Mesti panas, betol x?

Recently, SMM, which is known as Solidariti Mahasiswa Malaysia, plans to hold a rally on April 14 to demand immediate abolition of PTPTN.

Pinjam duit mau. Da dapat duit beli gajet. Beli iphone, beli ipad, pergi jalan2. Dah habis duit bising. Pergi rally. Jerit taknak bayar. Mak Bapak suroh blajar tak nak. Gomen suroh score 1st class tak dapat.

Bodoh.

Korang bising fresh graduate dapat gaji sikit. Memang la gaji sikit- ko dok blaja kat uni bukan ada experience first hand masa kerja. Nak dapat gaji banyak kene ada work experience lah bro, kene ada pengalaman dalam kerja, baru boleh demand. Ni results pon macam bangkai nak demand gaji RM5000 pastu nak buat rally sebab taknak bayar hutang- memang kene pijak la lu punya kepala.

Gomen dah bagi lampu hijau kat korang; dapat score 1st class honours, langsailah hutang. Orang bagi betis, ko nak paha. Aduh..memang mentaliti dunia ketiga. Memang sah korang masih tinggal atas pokok.

The Nottingham Malaysian Games 2011

They say that it was the biggest Malaysian sports event in the UK.

I say..

Meh.

The Nottingham games has a lot to offer for us, students, such as futsal, netball, basketball, volleyball, ping pong, badminton, lightning chess, scrabble and surprisingly, congkak and batu seremban. There was no tennis and football though, which I was a bit disappointed since tennis is a very popular sport. (I could've participated!)

Oh well, beggars can't be choosers, no? Our bus trip was only one hour from Sheffield and I was quite surprised to see a few from Dublin who came to join the games. 100++ pounds for a return flight yaww.

Majulah Sukan Untuk Negara.

I didn't watch all the games offered though but futsal, basketball and badminton games were really knee jerkers- with high intense action, especially in the futsal final match, in which Sheffield thumped Manchester 2-0. During the match, one Manchester player got red carded and slapped the referee where I thought it was really unnecessary and poor sportsmanship.

"You did two bad tackles and complain about your red card? Ni nak tampar referee plak. Chill la bro"

I met a lot of friends at Nottingham but sadly couldn't grab a picture or two with them since the moment when I meet them were kinda....awkward, like:

1. Im going inside the bus, a friend going outside the bus.
2. Im going inside a toilet, a friend going outside the toilet.
3. Im going outside for lunch, a friend going inside for his game.

And etc, etc..but still it was nice to meet all my friends although it was only for a brief period. The highlights for the Nottingham games were ofcourse the Malaysian food festival, where authentic dishes from Malaysia were served to satisfy our craving for Malaysian foods!

FYI, apam balik costs 2.50 pounds here..hahah. Anyways, here are some pics from the food festival, the games and the trip. :p

Malaysian Cars In Sheffield! (And some other places too)

I still find it ridiculous regarding 300% tax on imported cars by our government. A BMW which costs RM100k here in the UK would cost you RM400k in Malaysia. As stupid as the sound of it, Malaysian still insists on buying these cars and don't mind paying 300% tax.

Malaysians are rich.

I'm a cheapskate, so i'd rather take a hybrid car which has less tax and is more fuel economic. I'm not giving a stick at the way our government tax our cars (bless the subsidized oils- or else it would be havoc in Malaysia now) but rather, as cheap as german made BMW, home fresh Mini or the Italian Ferrari, you could still see a few "Malaysian" cars here in the UK.

Talk about pride. Lol.

(Malaysian cars here are much more expensive than a Mini..serious!!)

Hmm. Somehow I haven't seen any modern proton and perodua cars yet like Inspira, Persona or Alza. Nevertheless, makes you feel very proud if you see one of these at a foreign country!

Pikom PC Fair 2011

It sucks!!!!!!

Let me say it again-


It sucksssssssss!!!!

During this year Pikom PC Fair, I expected something different, something extra ordinary or something that is out of the box but to my dismay it is nothing short as disappointing.

As usual there were lots of people during the Pikom PC Fair and I hated it. Rubbing shoulder to shoulders with other people around and was almost suffocated with the ambient air inside the conference hall gave me a bad impression during my time there. I think the people attended the pc fair just now was almost equivalent to the people who lived in Kuching!

Now, let's talk about the laptops, cameras, computer accessories and other gadgets being sold during the pc fair.

All of them were the same as it is during last year (except for a few minor changes) and to my utter dismay almost all of the prices were the same! I expected that atleast there's some discount but there wasn't. I saw one of my headphones being sold at the same price as I bought it last year albeit the HD228's sucessor, the HD238, which has been in the market for quite a while now.

Well so far I enjoyed the audiophile section though, since i'm a music junkie. Was almost tempted to buy another set of headphones. Its blue in color and has a "adidas" logo on the side of it. Didn't check price. I bet that its pricey! :p

Beautiful, right? 

I did test a few headphones at the booth and was impressed by the sound qualities of headphones. I saw this one big headphone and I think its twice as big as my head! =.="

So. As I was busy walking around during the fair I did took some photos of those sexy model booths (my only sole intention to go to the pc fair). I didn't took a lot of photos though since there were a swarm of photographers wanted to take their pictures too. Here's some of the photo's.

As a verdict there's nothing much to see over here at the Pikom PC Fair- everything is very common and I didn't bought anything at the fair. I think Lowyat offers much more flexibility and prices.

There's a lot of customers that the workers have to handle and I think its hard for you to get the very best deals from them, too.

Malaysia's venomous striker, Safee Sali will be bearing a huge task on his shoulders to break the EPL's big guns when they'll be stepping foot to this country on July.

Being a Liverpudlian at heart, its a dream come to true for me to watch my favourite team in action, but i'm thinking how the hell would Safee Sali be fighting with those monster defenders in this few months ahead.

So Sarawak.

Wheepee! I'm back in Sarawak!

Not that i'm really looking forward to this though, but I guess i'll take this opportunity to take some well deserved rest- as well as some studying time.

I've always had issues when i'm going back home in Sarawak.

I never liked the fact that I had to take at least 2 bus trips from Micet to LCCT. When I first arrived at Bukit Jalil last Friday, I wanted to take a cab to KL sentral because I was sick/asthmatic and couldn't really walk that far on the train with a bag that weighs a ton of books, notes and a laptop.

Guess what, when I asked what was the price for the ride from Bukit Jalil to KL Sentral, an old lady in her 30s at the taxi waiting area quoted me a price of "RM30".

Urgh. Hello?

It's like RM3.50 if I walk from here to KL sentral using the train. I expected the most was RM20. The last time I took a cab at KL was earlier this year, from KL Sentral to Bukit Jalil, was RM20.

I was totally pissed off and walked away- but there was a taxi driver, yelling at me;

"RM25 la dik. Discount"

Fuck you.

I was in a very stressed mood the other day and I didn't have a lot of cash with me so what the heck, I'll just walk instead of paying RM30.

Well, my journey to Kl sentral wasn't the most pleasant walk I've ever had though, with ah bengs and promoters constantly harassing me to take those so called "free" gifts and prepaid cards and those smokes from the cars, construction works and cigarettes gave no-help at all. (No wonder some people say KL was "hell"). Overall it was nothing more satisfying than saving RM26.50- and used it to buy a double fillet o' fish burger and a vanilla milk shake at McDonalds at LCCT.

As I enter for boarding, I saw this guy at a shop buying shitloads of breads, Gardenia in particular.

And that was when, lightning struck my memory.

I remembered back when my mom and aunt usually bought a box full of gardenia breads for me and family in Sarawak each time they went to the peninsular for work. Every bite of those gardenia breads was something words can't describe back then. Usually i'll bring a few if there's some leftovers to school and eat it during recess. My friends usually ask where the hell I get those gardenia breads and I'll always proudly answer-

"KL- lah"

So I bet that the guy who bought that shitload of gardenia breads just now must've been a Sarawakian.

An instinct, of mine said, with an experience, that I've been through, when I was still a school kid.

Ah..good memories.. :)
