Let's Play Digimon On Your Android Phone!

Update: I just knew that you can have 4 virtual pets in your android device so if you're alone then you can play on your own via loopback connection! :)

First of all, I would like to thank all my readers as RandomApples have reached 200k pageviews!

***********

Ok so I was pretty bored at home after my usual work scrubbing all the walls and kitchenwares at the university accommodation so I had this app installed to keep me occupied before I yawn myself to death-

It's called, VPET!

Or, as most of know it, Digimon!!

Aku ingat lagi time zaman2 skolah bawak bende alah ni main time rehat, main time lepas kelas and main lepas skolah. Nang popular gila Digimon dolok. My first ever digimon was the first version and it was the yellow coloured version and it was made in Indonesia (Not sure if this is true..lol). My first ever adult digimon was Greymon and has fought me countless battles and died proud as a warrior. I had lots of Digimon when I was a kid and I just love the natural square ones compared to the Digivice (in which your Digimon is much stronger).

I remember once, and it was during primary 6 where there was a spotcheck and I had to put my digimon inside my underwear since there's no place to hide it. No choice, okay? Haha.

So it's pretty obvious, anyone who played Digimon before should feel at home when they install VPET  on their ANDROID PHONE. I repeat- ANDROID. Bukan Iphone. Bukan Windows. Bukan Nokia 3310.

Android.

Just go to Google Play store and search for VPET and you get to choose which version you want. Currently there's version 1-4.

The best thing about having a Digimon on your phone is that you could battle with your friends anywhere, anytime you like! No more metal scrubbing- just put your phone via bluetooth, wifi or the internet and face off any challengers!

One thing that I dislike about this app is that you couldn't "cheat" your way to the 3rd adult digimon, like Teddymon, Metal Greymon, etc- if you know what I mean.

Apa gik? Jom la battleeeeeee!!!

Skarang ni da tau da nak buat ape time rehat mase kerja..hoho.

And oh,

You're Welcome.

P:S// Hopefully I'll get Greymon again as my first Digimon..I feel like a child once again!!

SlimKicker App- Get Motivated!

I don't consider myself as fat- but, as some people call it, just right; not too fat, or not too thin.

I did think of getting buff a few months ago but yeah, with no constant training and motivation, i've left that dream going off the trail and let it sail.

Motivation plays an important role in getting that perfect body or to put it simply, getting fit and staying in shape for good health. Recently, I've registered myself to SlimKicker, an app (which you could download to your Iphone/Ipod or just log online at their website) that turns your diet and weight loss goals into a winnable level-up game!

You guys can check out the tour if you find it interesting. I just love the interface of the dashboard- simple and clean. Check out the challenges page and challenge yourself to- (these are three challenges that i'm currently doing)

  • No Snacks After Dinner
  • Replace Soda Challenge
  • A Salad A Day..and etc

There's also the Rewards page where you could reward yourself if you level up. Howbout a cheat meal if I get level 2? KFC fried chicken sounds nice for a cheat meal, no?

They are a lot of other things that you can explore at SlimKicker- you can join a group, meet new friends, check out your daily nutrition intake and exercise stats, blog about what you did or ate and read all the healthy recipes that other member's have put up at SlimKicker.

Or if you guys are just plain lazy to do that final 10 crunches, don't fret, read all the inspirational posts by other users and get on with your exercise!

Register at Slimkicker.com now to get motivated and inspired-

AND LEVEL UP!!!

Harvest Festival~!

I was one of the few selected bloggers lucky enough to be called upon to experience "A Culinary Tribute to Harvest Festival" at Orchid Garden, Grand Margherita Hotel, Kuching which is officially launched by the Assistant Minister of Tourism Sarawak.

Along with Kim, Eli, Chim, Fahrie and Eve we enjoyed different types of delish mouth-watering dishes such as Pansuh Manok, Pansuh Ikein, Kasam Ikien Bekuk, Kasam Jerak, Sungkoi Tumpi, Sup Ikan Tilapia Terung Assam Dayak, Kueh Tebeduk (some of the few selections of the local authentic dishes of the Sarawak natives) and a lot more.

All of them- buffet style!!

We ate as much as we could, (Eli ate the most) and filled our stomachs really-really full.

Buffet what. Buffet is the only place where you could eat as much as you could and the best thing was- we could enjoy the food for free! :P.

I like those Pansuh dishes the most, while the Kasam is a bit too salty for my liking since it is preserved with salt before it is cooked. The Kueh Tebeduk was very nice, sweet and soft in texture and the soup, is very-very rich.

Nevertheless, the foods were awesome!

Ok, so here's some of the pictures that I took during the lunch!

Warning: This could lead to overly oozing saliva from ur mouth. (Do not see these pictures if you're hungry).

These delicacies are usually served on Gawai day as everyone would gather and celebrate a bountiful harvest. I'm sure these dishes could fulfill your exotic taste buds in no time!

And oh, Grand Margherita Hotel is currently having the "Harvest Festival" promotion for the whole month of June!

All of the dishes mentioned and shown at the pictures are available at the ala-carte menu and it is available for lunch and dinner from now till the 30th of June 2011.

For bookings and reservations, call 082-423111 ext 1109/1158

P:S// Woah..I ate too much..now my belly is getting rounder..T.T and btw, thanks to SarawakBloggers and Grand Margherita Hotel for the invite! Kenyang perut ku aritok. ;)

ADV: Pre Medical Student Conference

I've always wanted to be a doctor. Being a doctor is a very noble job. Does saving someone's life, giving someone a chance to believe and making someone grateful for who you are appeals to you? I know- everyone wants that. You're lying if you're not. Or, have you ever thought about to learn more about the real world of medicine and have a better understanding of the various medical specialities?

To be a doctor, one must have great responsibility, dedication and willing to succeed. If you're a budding and a learning or a wannabe doctor, a parent who wants to learn or form 5 students who's going to pursue medicine as a career of choice, why don't you give yourself a chance to take part in the Pre Medical Student Conference in Prince Court Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

Take a head start from others by joining this Pre Medical Student Conference. This would be an ingenius way to enjoy your holidays rather than having yourself wrapped up in your room playing games or watching televisions.

Talks by Y. Bhg Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Hj. Mohd Ismail Merican, Director General of Health, Malaysia, Dr. David K.L Quek (President of MMA), Mr. Stuart Pack (CEO Prince Court), Ms. Barbara Er (IUMC Malaysia) and many others would surely inspire the little doctor inside of you.

The fee would be RM80, inclusive of 2 tea-breaks and lunch break. That RM80 is worth nothing from what you'll be getting and experiencing at the Pre Medical Conference. Knowledge, key points, experience and new friends would be waiting for you at the conference.

Interested parties can call,
